Ooh, these are harder than I thought they would be. And I’m curious that you’ll eat either liver or brussell sprouts or maybe even both, both of those are off-limits in my book!

On 5, I can’t see you being afraid of any of them… unless d. is a reference to cycling. Whenever possible, keep the wheel side down.
Just out of curiosity, have you ever ridden a unicycle? Have you ever considered it? I’m thinking about it because I can put one in a bag and carry it on the train. I bought a new (very heavy and cheap) bicycle to leave at my main disembarking point, but would sometimes like mobility at other stations.

Give me more than 2 siblings, and I tend to lose track (which is why I’ve had friends who think I only have 2 siblings), so, despite the fact you’ve told me several times, I can never remember if you have 7 siblings or if there are 7 of you altogether. However, I think it’s that you have 7, and there are 8 of you altogether, so I’m going with d. 7.
2. If you’re not including courses you taught as a student, I think it’s a. 4.
3. b. Western New York, but it resembles Eastern PA a bit, no?
4. b. eighteenth-century literature, a sign that you are one who does not follow the crowd
5. I don’t know, except I know it isn’t c. dirt, because you feel the same way I do about housekeeping, and you certainly get dirty riding your bike. Maybe it’s d. being upside down?
6. a. potatoes. Easy to remember, because I think you are the only person I’ve ever known who didn’t like them. Thus, I was able to make sure not to serve any when you visited (other guests don’t get so lucky and wind up with all kinds of things they don’t like, if I forget to ask).

8. I’d say you’re obsessed with all of these when you read a good book that falls into the category (except maybe true crime), but I’m going to go with a. essays, because you said *particularly*, and I do tend to think of you when I look at essay collections these days.
9. b. action movies (or am I just projecting? No, I’m pretty sure I’m not).
10. a. shopping for clothes. Our friends can drop you and me off at a bookstore (preferably one with a cafe) and meet us back there when they’re done clothes shopping, right?

Kate — all the ones you attempted you got right! And I wouldn’t blame anybody for not remembering all my siblings. I have trouble keeping them straight myself.
Litlove — I do have some fears, definitely! In fact, quite a lot. I suppose I hide it well π
Danielle — you did very well! The only one you missed was the number of years teaching, which now that I think about it, I probably never mentioned … oops!
Cipriano — I know, the quiz wasn’t easy, was it? Most of the answers I did discuss on the blog at some point, but I’ve been blogging over three years, and that’s a lot of information to keep track of!
Stefanie — not bad, especially for feeling shaky on some of them!
Verbivore — actually, now that I think about it, I’ve never tried liver or brussel sprouts. So I might well refuse to eat them after I tried them once, but I haven’t tested them yet! Potatoes, on the other hand, my mother made me try, quite often, and I’m still scarred π
Bikkuri — D is right on #5, although it doesn’t come from cycling directly. I was afraid of being upside down before cycling, but cycling adds an entirely new dimension to the fear. And no to the unicycle — another thing to fear! I’m sure I’d be no good at it. I’d love to hear about it if you get one!
Emily — very good job! The first two were tricky. It IS hard to remember if I meant 7 siblings or 7 total. And I wasn’t really clear on what kind of teaching I meant. But if you count it all up, it’s 11 years. Yikes! Otherwise you were perfect. And how kind of you to remember the potatoes thing!
